There is still time for clubs to make their move in the transfer window and Celtic are playing a long game to get who they want.

Ross McCormack would be happy if the rumours surround him being linked with a move to Celtic were to be founded on truth. Celtic manager Tony Mowbray has been creating some space in his squad recently with players either leaving permanently of or loan and he is looking to make more signings before the transfer window closes on Monday. McCormack said "I'm happy at Cardiff and focusing on getting the club into the Premiership. But everyone knows I'm a massive Celtic fan. I had a season ticket for Parkhead and always said I'd like to play for them at some point. Going there would interest any player."
Cardiff may be interested in some income as they face a second winding-up order on February 10 if they fail to pay an outstanding tax bill of £2.7million to Her Majesty's Revenue and Customs. Mowbray is also said to be wanting to sign Preston defender Sean St Ledger but North End boss Darren Ferguson said they have yet to hear an offer coming close to matching his £4.5million valuation. Mowbray looks set to wrap up a move for Motherwell winger Paul Slane before the window closes, while there are also widespread reports the Parkhead club are locked in talks with Spanish side Real Mallorca over defender Ivan Ramis.
