Brechin City's Jim Duffy had one of the best seats in the house when working for the media and hopes he has signed a good player without the need for scouts.

Brechin City have signed Stephen Ettien from Hamilton Accies. The French striker was signed by Hamilton manager Billy Reid in the summer and has has played six times for the Accies this season. Brechin's new manager, Jim Duffy, had seen him play a number of times when on media duty and has been impressed by the Frenchman's his pace and determination.

Ettien was born in Tolouse and spent his formative football years with Balma SC and JS Cugnaux, before joining Olympique Lyon. Ettien scored Accies' winning goal in their 2-1 CIS Cup 'derby' victory over Motherwell earlier in the season.
