Hearts manager Csaba Laszlo is enjoying his time in Scotland as we love football as much as he does. He is preparing his side for the Edinburgh derby on Sunday and he says it is one of the biggest in the world because Scottish fans care more about football than their own families. Laszlo, who coached in Germany, Hungary and Uganda before coming to Edinburgh 18 months ago, has been stunned by the passion for the game that exists and is displayed by fans across his adopted country. The football crazy manager enjoys the atmosphere and feels right at home.
He said: "The love for football is more highly ranked than in other countries. Elsewhere, you have more sports and the interest is not just in football, it is also in other sports and a lot of people don't have any interest in football. But here in Scotland, you have football, you have the pubs, the church and after that comes the family. First is football." Speaking of his own work-life balance Laszlo said: "It is football, football and family! In Scotland, what I love is that everybody speaks just about football. The people in the town speak just about the derby and about football. The interest is not just in winning, it is the lifestyle. This is the big difference."
