Another new face for the Glasgow City squad

Glasgow City are certainly making their moves for new players ahead of the new season. Just after signing Amy Bulloch, Eddie Wolecki Black has signed Julie Melrose from Rangers.

 
The Glasgow City coach said: "It’s fair to say that in previous seasons Julie has not had any continuity to her football and we hope that she can finally bring stability to her game and begin to enjoy her football again. Of course there are many who feel Julie is a gamble, but in my opinion every signing is a gamble, and I think people forget that although she has been playing for a few years now, at 22 years of age she has still not reached the peak years of her career. If she applies herself to the philosophy of the club and shows the attitude, determination and hunger required to compete for a place then I am convinced she will be a huge success."
