If a team can be refreshed by a new palyer or two the same can apply to the board. Inverness are making two changes at the top in August just before the start of the season.

Inverness Caledonian Thistle AGM in August will see their chairman David Sutherland step down as chairman. He will be replaced by new chairman Alan Savage, who is the head of Orion Group, the international recruitment specialists which have a £150 million turnover. Announcing his decision on Wednesday, Sutherland said: "I have other commitments and I believe a club needs fresh leadership on a regular basis. We have a strategy for success in place and Alan is a businessman of the calibre required to take it forward."

Chairman-elect Savage said: "
I want to ensure this club survives and prospers in the top flight. I've followed this club since its inception and though David Sutherland is a hard act to follow, I want to extend Caley Thistle's progress." That is not the only change at board level at Inverness. The board will also welcome a new member in Mike Crowe, head of the club's shirt sponsors LifeScan Scotland. It appears the club are ringing the changes off the field as the players are getting ready for their third season in the SPL.
