A chance to get to Hampden is always a decent carrot to get your players turning up when you manage a small team. Two cup competitions kick off in August with a decent prize at the end.

The smaller clubs who fill football grounds around the country are about to start on the long road to Hampden . The Tennent's Scottish Qualifying Cups provide two prizes, the North and South cup plus entry for the top four clubs in each Cup into the Scottish Cup proper.

The draws for the Cups were made today at Harlaw Park the home of Inverurie Loco Works who are the current holders of the North cup. They fixtures are as follows:
