You can do nothing about speculation and Craig Gordon just wants to play football.

Concentrating on playing for Hearts
Hearts' keeper Craig Gordon is intent on ignoring speculation over his future and is staying fully focused on playing for the Gorgie side. Gordon has been marked down for a move to the Barclays Premiership, with Sunderland the latest club to be linked with the highly-rated international. According to rumours, Black Cats manager Roy Keane has said to have tabled a £3million offer for the Scotland number one in a bid to bolster his squad for the new season. Whether Hearts would be willing to let their prized asset go for such a sum remains to be seen, with assistant coach Stevie Frail labelling him a £10million player last season. Gordon is unaware of any concrete bids so far but pointed out there are still several weeks remaining before the transfer window closes at the end of August.

He said: "
The transfer window still has a long way to run but, at the moment, it has been very quiet. It's entirely down to Hearts if they accept any bids, and if there are any bids coming in. There aren't too many clubs looking for goalkeepers at the moment. It might just be case that something happens towards the end - who knows? I've got to remain fully focused on doing my job as captain of Hearts and getting ready for the new season. I have to continue doing what I'm doing and developing as a player. I'm hopefully going to continue doing that wherever I may be. I'm just concentrating fully on the new season. It's starting again fairly soon and I have to be fit and ready to go for the start."
