Craig Gordon is happy at Hearts and will bide his time to see if any offers come his way.

I can wait
Despite coach Stephen Frail suggesting he is worth £10m, Hearts have confirmed that they have heard nothing from any club regarding Craig Gordon. This does not bother the 'keeper as his agent insist he is in no hurry to leave Tynecastle. A number of Premiership clubs, including Spurs, to have been said to be working on a deal to bring Scotland's number one south of the border. Charlie Mann, spokesman for club owner Vladimir Romanov, said: "We have not received any offers from anybody for Craig Gordon, but as we know it's silly season now." Gordon's agent Andy Evans also admitted that the keeper is not pushing for a summer move and will be choosy about his next club.

Evans said: "
I met with Hearts last week and I assured them I would not be discussing Craig's footballing future in the press. We had a general positive chat about the kind of club he would sign for if Craig was to move on from Hearts. I genuinely could not say with any certainty Craig has played his last game for Hearts. The reality is Hearts consider Craig to be one of the top goalkeepers in Europe. Therefore Hearts are commanding a transfer fee that is commensurate with being rated as one of the best keepers in Europe. It would have to be a significant club that is looking for a No.1 goalkeeper with the funds that could satisfy Hearts' demands and it would also have to be a team that Craig wants to sign for. Craig is a Hearts fan and he is in no desperate hurry to leave Tynecastle. I have no doubt at some stage Craig will want to try his hand at operating at a higher level and playing in a more prestigious league. That could be this summer, it could be January or it could be next summer. Hearts have to receive what they believe is a fair market price for him."
