Another foreign goalkeeper for the Bairns as John Hughes prepares for next season.

Scotland beat Austria last night but that has not stopped Falkirk signing Austria Under-21 goalkeeper Robert Olejnik from Aston Villa. Olejnik never made a first-team appearance in the four years he spent at Villa Park and manager Martin O'Neill has agreed to release him this summer. Olejnik could be set to make the number one spot his own with Falkirk, who had Manchester City reserve goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel on loan for the second half of last season.

Olejnik will officially join on July 1, but said: "
I am absolutely delighted to be here. It is a great opportunity to play first-team football. This will be a great opportunity for me to play at places like Ibrox and Parkhead and I am really looking forward to the start of the season." Falkirk boss, John Hughes said: "Robert fits the bill for us - he is young, fit and hungry and is an imposing character between the posts."
