Barcelona enjoyed their winning trip to Scotland as part of their pre-season preparations. They could make it a regular visit.
 | Heading home, job done |
| Barcelona managed to head home with two more wins under their belt after beating Hearts 1-3 on Saturday and Dundee United 0-1 on Thursday. The Catalan side's Coach Frank Rijkaard says he enjoyed the visit to Scotland so much he would like to do it again next season. Barcelona were based in St Andrews this week and enjoyed the facilities available. They wasted no time on Saturday and went straight to Edinburgh airport after the Hearts game and Rijkaard said: "It has been wonderful and I wouldn't say that if it wasn't true. We have been made welcome here and the circumstances have been great for working in. You never know what will happen next summer but if it was my decision then I would like to come back here."
After the finger biting last minute penalty win at Tannadice, Barcelna won more comfortably against Hearts and Rijkaard said: "It was great test for our team but I think we more or less controlled the game from the start." |
